Framtidskraft - Summer Jobs for Youth

Framtidskraft is Region Halland's special initiative for young people who want to work during the summer!

If you are between 16-19 years old (you must be 16 years old when the summer job starts), you can apply for a summer job as Framtidskraft - an opportunity for summer employment in one of our operations.

The summer jobs as Framtidskraft are available at hospitals and health centers, dental care, in administration and service, culture, and schools. When you apply, you indicate whether you prefer to work in Halmstad, Falkenberg, Varberg, or Kungsbacka.

The work is conducted under supervision and may involve helping with various tasks in the organization. In a care department, this could mean running errands for patients and staff, talking and walking with patients, serving snacks, and distributing food. It may also involve more administrative tasks such as filing, cash handling, and mail management.

The summer job comprises a total of 120 to 160 hours, which can be distributed over three to six weeks, depending on what suits the current operation.

You who are applying are between 16-19 years old (you must be 16 years old when the summer job starts).

How to Apply for a Summer Job as Framtidskraft 2026

If you want to apply for a summer job as Framtidskraft, you must submit your application via our recruitment tool no later than March 15. There, you can easily fill in your personal information and state your preferences by answering our questions.

If you are selected for a position this summer, we will contact you via phone or email in April. To secure the position, you must respond to the offer before a certain date. To avoid missing a potential offer, it is important to keep track of the email address and mobile number you provided in your application. Don't forget to notify us if you change your email address or mobile number! Unfortunately, we cannot offer Framtidskraft to everyone who is interested. In the selection process, we will prioritize those who have not previously been employed as Framtidskraft within Region Halland.
