Framtidskraft - Summer Jobs for Youth

Framtidskraft is Region Halland's special initiative for young people who want to work during the summer! If you are between 16-19 years old (you must be 16 years old when the summer job starts), you can apply for a summer job as Framtidskraft - an opportunity for summer employment in one of our operations.

The summer jobs as Framtidskraft are available in hospitals and health centers, dental care, administration and service operations, culture, and schools. When you apply, you indicate if you prefer to work in Halmstad, Falkenberg, Varberg, or Kungsbacka.

The work is conducted under supervision and may involve helping with various tasks in the operation. In a healthcare department, this may include running errands for patients and staff, talking and walking with patients, serving snacks, and distributing meals. It may also involve more administrative tasks such as filing, cashier work, and mail handling.

The summer job consists of a total of 120 to 160 hours, which can be spread over three to six weeks, depending on what suits the specific operation.

How to apply for a summer job as Framtidskraft 2026: If you want to apply for a summer job as Framtidskraft, you must submit your application via our recruitment tool by March 15 at the latest. There, you can easily fill in your personal information and indicate your preferences by answering our questions.

If you are selected for a position this summer, we will contact you by phone or email in April. To secure the position, you must respond to the offer by a certain date. To avoid missing a potential offer, it is important to keep track of the email address and mobile number you provided in your application. Don't forget to inform us if you have changed your email address or mobile number! Unfortunately, we cannot offer Framtidskraft to everyone who is interested. In the selection process, we will prioritize those who have not previously been employed as Framtidskraft within Region Halland.
