Unika Nimbus Children's Home, Group Home, and Service Housing is a residential/service facility aimed at individuals belonging to group 1 under LSS. We are a flexible organization that can meet each resident's individual needs and interests, from recreational activities to daily wishes. We often take trips to nearby attractions, engage in recreational activities together, visit local shops, or take the bus downtown. We strive for participation and influence for our resident youth in everything from cooking to choosing a movie during group movie time.
About the Role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will assist users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogical principles and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources of the organization.
QualificationsVery good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience working with Clear Pedagogy.
Experience in healthcare and social care.
High school education such as Child and Recreation Program, Health and Social Care Program, or post-secondary education such as Support Pedagogue, Social Pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
Driver's license is a requirement.
Experience with AAC and low-arousal responses.
Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment Type: Temporary Working Hours: Irregular, evening, night shifts, weekends Start Date: By agreement Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
