We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping Gymnasium, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping.

Our Organization

The F-9 operations encompass 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, assistant principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About the Principal Area

In principal area D, there are three schools: Stigtomta School and Släbroskolan, which are F-6 schools, and Råby, which is an F-3 school. The principal area has about 750 students from preschool class up to grade 6, as well as associated leisure homes. The principal area is expanding as there is ongoing construction of Släbro, adapted for 700 students.

The school leadership group works closely together and consists of one principal and four assistant principals with clear areas of responsibility. The focus is on a well-functioning student health service and work towards increased goal fulfillment, where collegial learning is essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who, together with your colleagues, works to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for the students. As a special teacher, you will be part of the school's student health team and participate in the pedagogical support at the school. You will work based on the curriculum and translate the curriculum goals into meaningful learning for the students.

You have tools to analyze students' development opportunities and adapt methods to their needs. You actively work to remove barriers, develop support measures, and provide assistance to students in need of special support.

In our school, every educator is a significant piece of the puzzle. We are here for all students and must therefore be very flexible. We have a strong student focus, and the pedagogical work is based on the students' needs. You will work both preventively and directly, in classes or with student groups of varying sizes, as well as with individual students. Your work includes documentation and follow-up of documentation, and you participate in various forums such as student health teams, student health conferences, student health sessions, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree and are a licensed special teacher. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate curriculum goals into your work. You have clear leadership, a low-affect approach, patience, courage, structure, and commitment. You are a present educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. You create trusting relationships with students and their guardians. Experience working with students with special needs is a requirement. The role requires you to plan, adapt, and implement teaching based on each student's individual needs and conditions.

You have a willingness to collaborate and see opportunities before difficulties. A positive attitude is something we highly value. Digital tools are a natural part of your teaching.
