Sabbatsbergsbyn is a care home with 106 apartments spread over 11 departments in three separate buildings.

Nine departments are dedicated to dementia care, while the remaining two departments are somatic. Sabbatsbergsbyn is centrally located in Stockholm with green areas around the corner and a fantastic garden designed as the Garden of the Senses.

In the Garden of the Senses, we meet for barbecues, gymnastics, entertainment, and coffee breaks. Here, a team of dedicated nursing assistants, nurses, occupational and physiotherapists work together with group leaders and unit managers.

We are now looking for an experienced and committed nursing assistant for night shifts at our lovely home!

Your role

As a nursing assistant at night, you will provide good care, social support, and service to the elderly, according to decisions made by the assistance officer. You will work based on the nurse's orders and be responsible for social documentation. You must also follow the routines and regulations that exist in the workplace. The position involves night shifts.

Your qualifications and experience

We want you to:

• be a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title or on your way to applying for a protected professional title
• have at least 1-3 years of experience in elderly care
• have good documentation skills
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you have:

• work experience with dementia patients.

We are looking for someone who has a professional approach towards our residents, relatives, and colleagues. Since the position requires many contacts with people, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, are empathetic, and service-oriented. We are looking for someone who is flexible and takes responsibility for their work by being independent, engaged, and meticulous.

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities within the City of Stockholm, you must provide an extract from the criminal record.
