Brasserie Astrid is looking for an engaged and creative bartender to join our bar team. We are a modern restaurant and brasserie in the heart of the city with a strong focus on guest experience, quality in our beverage offerings, and a vibrant evening operation. As a bartender, you will be responsible for beverage service at the bar, drink composition, fast and warm service, as well as close collaboration with the serving and kitchen teams to create memorable experiences for our guests.

• Mix and serve cocktails, signature drinks, as well as beer and wine with a focus on quality, presentation, and pace.

• Maintain high standards in the bar area: cleanliness, order, restocking supplies, and functionality of the workstation.

• Recommend drink combinations and guide guests in their beverage choices with clarity and warmth.

• Handle cash management, opening and closing of the bar, and daily reports according to procedures.

• Ensure proper handling of allergies and special diets in consultation with the kitchen and serving staff.

• Participate in inventory, orders, and receiving deliveries for the bar.

• Contribute to the development of the drink menu, updates of recipes, and internal tastings.

• Work proactively during high demand, support the serving team, and resolve guest issues professionally.

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a bartender or in a similar role in a restaurant/bar environment is preferred.

• Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage service; knowledge of wine and beer is a plus.

• Experience with cash systems and basic alcohol handling/procedures according to law.

• Basic hygiene knowledge and experience in maintaining clean work areas.

• Social, service-oriented, and able to handle stress with the ability to keep pace during evening service.

• Good communication skills in Swedish; English is a plus.

• Flexibility in working hours with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

• Customer-focused and warm in interactions with guests—you create atmosphere and make guests feel welcome.

• Creative and driven in the development of the beverage selection and meticulous in the execution of recipes.

• Structured and responsible in cash management and closing procedures.

• A team player who contributes to a positive, inclusive, and efficient work environment.
