Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own healthcare centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for

you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse who wants a stimulating and meaningful job where you can develop together with competent colleagues. We offer a full-time temporary position starting in June 2026 until February 2027.

The position offers

a great opportunity to gain experience in primary care and broaden your skills in an area characterized by variation, independence, and continuity in patient work. You will work in an engaged team and develop in your professional role with the support of experienced colleagues. There is also the possibility of extension, which provides conditions for continued employment.

Your mission

We are looking for someone who enjoys having a varied job. Tasks include nurse reception with assessment, treatment, and follow-up of your patients. It also involves assessing and assisting patients in telephone advice, chat, and 1177. The position also includes teamwork as well as regular nursing tasks at the healthcare center. We have a broad patient base, which means you will meet everyone from young families and students to elderly citizens. This makes the work with us both varied and stimulating.

Your competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse, and it is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team, but you also have the ability to work independently. It is important that you have a desire to develop the operations together with your colleagues in the unit. We care about a good work environment and see it as natural that everyone contributes to a pleasant workplace. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Our operations

Kungsgärdets Healthcare Center belongs to the department of Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala. The healthcare center is centrally located in Uppsala with good bus connections and parking facilities next to the healthcare center. We have about 11,000 registered patients and offer, among other things, geriatric care, diabetes care, and minor emergency care. At the healthcare center, everyone works to provide our patients with the best possible care.
