Our Operations

Working in ambulance care is often a challenging and exciting job, where we usually focus on one patient at a time. We work in two shifts, which provides more recovery time in the schedule, and there is an opportunity for training during work hours.

We are looking for you as a nurse for the ambulance stations in Enköping, Tierp, Uppsala, and Östhammar for employment by agreement in the autumn of 2026. With us, there is an opportunity for rotation service towards other operations.

Your Qualifications

Licensed nurse with at least one year of experience in emergency care. Additional training in ambulance care or emergency care, anesthesia, or intensive care is an advantage. We prefer that you have a driver's license with C1/C qualification or a B driver's license issued before July 1, 1996.

As an applicant, you should have good driving experience as well as good physical condition and capability. You must submit a certificate that you can swim (200 m). The selection consists of a suitability test in the form of a fitness test, driving test, interview, and a medical knowledge test in the form of a written exam. Test days are scheduled for May 11 and 19, 2026.

In addition to formal qualifications and merits, we place great importance on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, stress resistance, and flexibility.

We Offer

Employment in the autumn of 2026. A 5-week introductory course that is tentatively scheduled to start in week 37, 2026, after passing the course, you will be offered employment by agreement. Prior to hiring, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal records, driver's license register, and IVO will be taken.
