As a physiotherapist in Kristinehamn Municipality, you will belong to a group consisting of ten occupational therapists, seven physiotherapists, three assistive technology technicians, and one rehabilitation assistant.

The Rehabilitation Unit is responsible for rehabilitation within the municipality's special accommodations, short-term placements, LSS units, and regular housing. There is a strong ambition and a lot of commitment in the group, and together we create a good climate at the workplace. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist in the municipality, you will work on assessing, treating, and rehabilitating patients, primarily within home healthcare, special accommodations, and LSS operations. You are responsible for planning and implementing individually tailored rehabilitation efforts aimed at strengthening the patient's functional and activity abilities as well as promoting independence and quality of life.

The work includes functional assessments, training, and prescribing assistive devices, as well as guidance and education for care staff and relatives. You participate in teamwork together with occupational therapists, nurses, case managers, and other professionals to ensure good and cohesive care.

Documentation and follow-up of your efforts are a natural part of the assignment. In this role, you also contribute to the development of working methods and quality within municipal health and medical care.

Our workgroup is characterized by open dialogue and a permissive climate. You always have close support in your work as colleagues and the manager are present in the same workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• License as a physiotherapist
• Driver's license (manual transmission)

Meritorious:

• Experience in municipal rehabilitation
• Two years of work experience in the physiotherapy profession
