Caverion has a collaboration agreement with the global, innovation-driven pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca for the operation and maintenance of properties in Södertälje. Both Caverion and AstraZeneca are companies that want to be at the forefront of a sustainable society.

Part of our mission is to work proactively with our purchases and the suppliers that are a major part of our deliveries.

We are now looking for a purchaser who works with sustainability issues with our suppliers.

About the position

You will be offered an independent and developing role with responsibility for our local operational purchasing activities. In this role, you will be the spider in the web ensuring that the routines and information surrounding purchasing and sustainability are followed and that the collaboration agreements we have with our suppliers work and are monitored.

As a purchaser, you will be engaged in large parts of our delivery, from purchasing agreements, negotiations, follow-ups, and being the one who leads and supports our suppliers.

You and your colleagues will support and develop the delivery to the customer. You will develop and propose improvement and change suggestions and together with the customer develop our joint work. As the purchasing manager, you will also educate and support our managers within the organization so that our operations follow the customer and our guidelines.

Examples of tasks

Responsible for sustainable purchases according to assignment requirements
Report status on sustainability and quality.
Drive collaboration forums with our suppliers
Participate in innovation and improvement work.

Who are you

We believe you are an engaged team player who is driven to make a difference in purchasing and the transition to a more sustainable society.

You have post-secondary education in purchasing and/or sustainability, preferably a university degree, and several years of experience in purchasing work where you have worked independently with agreements, follow-ups, and supplier dialogue.

You have a solid commercial interest and preferably a background in installation, security, automation, or wholesale companies related to Caverion's technical areas.

As a person, you are communicative, structured, and pragmatic. You dare to drive, prioritize, and take initiatives while being attentive and confident in collaborations. You thrive when you can create order and make it easy for others to do the right thing.

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in project management.
Knowledge of and experience in mapping and developing processes.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
