We are now looking for a new employee to work with technical sales in the business area of StormWater Solutions.

About the role

Within StormWater Solutions, ViaCon works with solutions to manage, delay, and store stormwater – an area that is rapidly growing in line with increased demands for sustainable urban development and climate adaptation.

ViaCon offers, among other things, tank solutions and systems for managing rainwater that are used in everything from urban development projects and residential areas to large logistics areas, industries, and data centers.

In this role, you will work with project-related sales where you identify needs, develop solutions, and drive business together with various stakeholders in the project chain. You will work closely with customers, consultants, and contractors and be an important part of developing the business within stormwater solutions in the Swedish market.

A significant part of the role involves understanding projects early, building relationships, and being part of the dialogue about which solutions are best suited for each project.

You will work closely with colleagues at ViaCon and collaborate with technical specialists and other salespeople to develop business and create long-term customer relationships.

The position is based in Stockholm, but for the right person, there is an opportunity to work from another location in the region, such as Linköping up to Gävle. Travel is included in the role to meet new and existing customers.

Your responsibilities

In the role of salesperson within StormWater Solutions, you will work closely with customers and project actors to find the right solutions for stormwater management and water storage.

You will, among other things:

  • Drive and develop sales within StormWater Solutions
  • Work with project-related sales towards stakeholders in the construction and civil engineering industry
  • Identify needs and present technical solutions to customers and project partners
  • Build and develop long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, and other key players in the project chain
  • Follow projects from early dialogue to implementation
  • Collaborate internally with colleagues across different business areas to develop customer solutions

The customer base is broad and includes consultants, property developers, contractors, earthworks contractors, as well as municipalities and larger property owners.

Background

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of how business is conducted in the construction and civil engineering industry and how different actors collaborate in projects.

You may have experience as:

  • Project salesperson in construction, civil engineering, or HVAC
  • Salesperson of technical solutions to contractors or project organizations
  • Worked in a role close to construction projects, for example, with suppliers, contractors, or consultants

We also see that you:

  • Have a technical understanding or background in construction, civil engineering, or installation
  • Thrive in a role with many contact points where relationships are crucial for business
  • Have the ability to work independently and drive business forward
  • Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
  • Have a B driver's license

Start: By agreement
