Söderströmsgården is a nursing home where individuals are offered care, support, and services characterized by professional treatment. The operation includes social and cultural stimulation so that residents can experience joy in their daily lives. We use digital solutions as support for both staff and residents. Söderströmsgården is located in Stenhamra center and is operated by the municipality. The facility has 63 places divided into seven units, of which 4 units are for individuals with cognitive diseases. The nursing home Pavilion Stenhamra is adjacent to Söderströmsgården and has 18 places. The facility has its own kitchen, where all meals and meal boxes for home care customers are prepared.

Job Description

Together with the residents and their relatives, we work to create a safe old age with good quality in care. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams – such as nurses, physiotherapists, and other professionals – to provide person-centered care where each individual is seen.

We stay updated on the development of elderly care and take joint responsibility for improving the quality of the operation. We are proud of our work and of making a difference every day.

Documentation is a natural and important part of the assignment, both in implementation plans and in daily follow-ups. With us, you will have engaged colleagues, a positive work environment, influence in the operation, and present leadership.

Qualifications

You are a trained nursing assistant through the care and nursing program or have equivalent experience from similar work. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable using digital tools. You are also familiar with documentation according to SoL.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, attentive, and present in meetings with others. You have a genuine commitment to people and a work approach characterized by structure, collaboration, and humility.

Start date: by agreement
Extent: 80-100% Work on schedule - day/evening and weekend including holidays

How to get to Ekerö Municipality

To work in Ekerö Municipality within elderly care, you must present an extract from the police criminal record along with valid photo identification before employment. You can request the extract on the police's website. The extract should not be older than six months from the date of issue.
