The individual and family care consists of workgroups for children and youth, family law, financial assistance, harmful use and dependency, as well as administration. Within the organization, there are also personal representatives and assistance administrators. The unit is relatively small, and all workgroups work closely together.
Standby and longer business trips occur, with compensation according to applicable agreements. A day off after standby is covered by the employer. With the current staffing, this means that you will receive about 7 extra days off per year.
Work area and area of responsibility
As a social worker in the dependency care and family law at Arvidsjaur Municipality, your work will be crucial in supporting individuals and families in vulnerable life situations. You will play a central role in both strengthening people's opportunities for change and ensuring the rights of children and families.
Your main tasks will be to work with investigation, implementation, and follow-up of decided interventions within dependency care, but also some work within family law. The tasks may also vary over time and based on needs within the operational area.
Qualifications and competencies
You who are applying have:
- A degree in social work or another relevant higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- A criminal record extract will be requested before employment as part of the recruitment process.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to express yourself clearly and structured in speech and writing.
- Ease in building relationships, flexibility, cooperativeness, and good communication skills.
Meritorious for the position are:
- Driver's license B
- Documentation and computer skills
- Good knowledge of applicable legislation for the relevant area
- Experience of authority exercise
- Education or experience in evidence-based methods such as: MI (motivational interviewing), BSF (behavior, conversation, change), HAP (hash withdrawal program), CRA (community reinforcement approach), MET (motivational enhancement therapy), and RP (relapse prevention). From 2023, CRAFT (Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training) is also offered.
