Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and young people? We are now looking for more substitute teachers for preschools and schools in the municipality of Boden.

As a substitute, you will meet children and students of various ages and activities. In preschool, you will work with children aged 1–6 years alongside preschool teachers, childcare workers, and special educators to create a safe, educational, and stimulating environment.

In primary school, from preschool class to grade 9, you will work with students aged 6–16 years. The assignment may involve leading and conducting teaching based on planning or supporting students in their learning during the school day.

You can work in preschool groups, in classrooms from preschool class to grade 9, in after-school care, or as a teaching assistant. The tasks vary depending on the assignment and experience; it may involve supporting individual students, working together with regular staff, or independently being responsible for teaching based on planning.

You will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in the municipality of Boden's operations. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays during the day.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• • Willing to work extra as needed, with the possibility of full-time work.
  • Studying to become a preschool teacher, primary school teacher, or other relevant education
  • Retired or have another main occupation
  • Responsible, flexible, and genuinely interested in the development of children and young people
  • Good collaboration skills and a safe and clear adult
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

  You enjoy working in different workplaces, easily adapt to new routines and working methods, and contribute a positive attitude when interacting with children, students, and colleagues.

  • Previous experience from preschool or school
  • Pedagogical education
  • Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (as some units are located outside central Boden)
