An exciting and varied job awaits you with us. The Primary Care Team constitutes the mobile part of the hospital operations at Karlskoga Hospital. The team conducts both planned and emergency services.

Karlskoga Hospital is one of the three acute hospitals in Örebro County. We who work at Karlskoga Hospital are proud of our hospital. Our work is characterized by professionalism, commitment, and team spirit. The hospital has both clinics and outpatient services that are part of the Area of Close Care, as well as clinics that are cross-functional, meaning services that exist in all three hospitals in the county. In the northern part of the area’s hospital operations, the medical clinic, emergency department, and specialist clinics are included.

The tasks in the Primary Care Team are varied and include, among other things, medical assessments over the phone and at the patient's home, planned and more urgent treatments, medication management, nursing, and patient work. The Primary Care Team works in teams. Most assignments are carried out with a doctor and nurse or solely by a nurse. The assignments are conducted in collaboration between the Primary Care Team, hospital departments, municipalities, and health centers in the western part of the county. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with the emergency department, ambulance service, and SOS Alarm.
