The client is an international consulting company in technology, design, and advisory services. They work with sustainable solutions in areas such as industry, energy, infrastructure, and digitalization, aiming to contribute to a more sustainable society through innovative technology and expert competence.

We are looking for an electrical designer who wants to work broadly within industrial automation and be an important part of the projects – from the initial calculation to the final commissioning. You will be part of an automation unit within the manufacturing industry where technical quality, safety, and functionality are at the center.

The role involves responsibility for developing well-thought-out and safe electrical designs that meet both customer requirements and applicable regulations. The projects vary between new constructions, modernizations, and technical upgrades, providing a dynamic and developing everyday life.

You will work in project form throughout the entire chain. Already in the bidding phase, you contribute with technical assessments regarding scope, time, and cost. You then follow the project through design, review, assembly, inspection, and startup. The work is primarily conducted from the office, with elements of customer visits.

Key responsibilities: 

• Create, update, and ensure the quality of electrical designs

• Participate in bidding work through technical assessments and calculations

• Be responsible for electrical design, component selection, and technical support for electrical assembly

• Follow projects from design to inspection and startup

• Conduct drawing reviews and technical controls together with colleagues

• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and suppliers regarding technical solutions

• Ensure that designs meet requirements for functionality, safety, and cost-effectiveness

• Work on both upgrades of existing machines and installation of new systems

Travel occurs between Skövde, Laxå, and customers to a limited extent. No personal car is required.

• Technical education at university level, vocational college, or equivalent

• Experience in electrical design within industrial automation or process industry

• Experience working in E-plan or equivalent systems

• Swedish and English in spoken and written form

• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Experience with Systema or other relevant complementary tools

• Background in industrial production

• Experience from technical roles within automation environments

You thrive in project form and feel comfortable taking technical responsibility throughout the entire process. You are meticulous, structured, and used to working with details and regulations without losing the overall perspective.

As a person, you are collaborative and confident in dialogue with both customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You work independently, have a solution-oriented approach, and are driven by delivering technically well-thought-out solutions with high quality.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Scope: Full-time, permanent
