You will be employed in the Staffing and Recruitment Unit within Governance and Support but will actively work in the Welfare Gävle operations. As a nursing assistant in the Pool, you will work across all Welfare Gävle operations; home care, care and nursing homes, personal assistance, social psychiatry, and housing with special support. Your workday is entirely governed by the needs of the operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in the Pool, you will work across all Welfare Gävle operations; home care, care and nursing homes, personal assistance, social psychiatry, and housing with special support. Your workday is entirely governed by the needs of the operations. Working in the Pool means you have a varied job where no workweek is the same.

  • On the days you have scheduled working hours, you will be placed at the workplace and during the time where the need for staff is greatest. This means, for example, that one day you work in home care and the next day in personal assistance.
  • The job provides you with good development opportunities as a nursing assistant since you will have the chance to work in all Welfare operations and will often face new situations.
  • You are part of a workgroup that you meet with every four weeks together with your manager. Your colleagues have great competence and knowledge that they are happy to share.
  • The job requires great flexibility as you often receive your exact working hours on the same day you are to work. We value your flexibility and availability - therefore, a salary supplement is included in this role.
  • You create your own schedule within given frameworks.
  • Working hours are during the day, evening, and every third weekend; night shifts may occur in exceptional cases if desired. The distribution of your shifts is managed by the staffing and recruitment unit's administrators.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal requirements:

  • Trained nursing assistant with certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a nursing assistant
  • Driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle and driving experience
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
  • Bicycle experience

Meritorious:

  • Experience working with disabilities within LSS
  • Experience with medical delegation
  • Experience working in pool service
  • Documentation experience - preferably with Treserva and TES
  • Experience with schedule planning in TimeCare Pool.
