Primary Care
Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth clinics, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded. Within the primary care area, there is a good research climate and it has the status of a university hospital unit. Our R&D unit can provide support and scientific guidance together with Umeå University.
Zätagränds Health Center
At Zätagränds Health Center, we are a dedicated team with high satisfaction, where we care for each other and work solution-focused towards common goals. We have approximately 13,400 registered patients and are a popular health center located in central Östersund. With us, you will work alongside general practitioners, resident doctors, interns, dietitians, diabetes and district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, maternal and child health care, child health care, and rehabilitation coordinators. We are responsible for three special accommodations and have a large family center. For us, a good work and educational environment is of utmost importance. Job Responsibilities
A combination of an engaged study director, a good residency training with a focus on learning and continuing education, together with a pleasant workplace with wonderful colleagues will give you a good start in your professional life. As a resident doctor, you will be part of a team of doctors at different stages of their careers. We focus on structured doctor meetings where we, with support in science and evidence, share our experiences and continue to develop the operations.
With us, you will meet patients of all ages from child health care to elderly care, which gives you an exciting breadth in your work. You will be responsible for a geographical area with outpatient visits, home visits, qualified telephone visits, and video consultations. Occasional on-call duties are included in the work. Within the framework of your employment, there is an opportunity for side assignments within special accommodations, maternal and child health care, and child health care.
Qualifications
Licensed physician, own research and research supervision are meritorious but not a formal requirement for the position. Experience from primary care is also an advantage.
