Does this sound like a position and workplace for you? We are now seeking a Spanish teacher for grades 6-9, for a 50% position, who wants to make a difference every day at work for our students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a team with other subject teachers responsible for a grade in the upper secondary school. In the team, there is a lead mentor responsible for driving student health efforts. You will not have mentorship responsibilities, allowing you to focus on your core mission of planning, implementing, and evaluating your own teaching.

The position starts in the autumn term of 2026, but there is an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the operations during the spring and teach the subject if you wish.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• Licensed teacher with qualifications in Spanish for grades 6-9.
• Good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.
• Good ability to use digital tools as support in your work, e.g., Word, Outlook, Teams.

Previous experience teaching in primary school is considered an asset.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we will place great emphasis on them. As a person, you are structured, responsible, clear, and confident in your leadership. You create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are aware of your own impact on students' learning and, based on students' results, research, and proven experience, you follow up on the quality of teaching, reflect, and evaluate to develop your teaching.

You should be able to conduct structured, repetitive teaching characterized by collaborative and language-developing instruction. With your strong subject knowledge, you conduct teaching that inspires curiosity, creativity, and knowledge development.

In accordance with the law on qualification requirements (SFS 2014:458), teachers without a license cannot receive permanent employment. Therefore, teachers without a license are offered a fixed-term employment until they can present their license. Does this sound exciting?
