Temporary Position as Deputy Unit Manager in Inpatient Care

Our deputy unit manager will be on parental leave starting June 2026.

Therefore, we are now looking for a nurse with previous or current experience as a deputy unit manager in inpatient care. Are you curious and interested in leading our adult inpatient care unit as a temporary deputy unit manager for 1 year? Then this position is for you!

The Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages. We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and nationally specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today we have nearly 280 employees. Our outpatient and day care services are located in Södermalm, and our inpatient care is at Danderyd Hospital.

The adult inpatient care unit has space for 14 patients (including two self-selected places) and treats patients over 18 years old. The clinic also has two additional units that care for children and adolescents. We also have a mission for Nationally Specialized Inpatient Care (NHV) for adults with eating disorders. The focus of NHV is to customize the treatment plan and, in addition to focusing on the eating disorder, also consider psychiatric comorbidity.

"In me as a manager, you have an honest, fair, and positive person who, with an eye for the individual, creates engagement and cohesion towards common goals. For me, job satisfaction, commitment, and lack of prestige are characteristic of a workgroup that is doing well and can grow and develop together sustainably!"
Nina Henriksson, Unit Manager
