Issues regarding security protection, operational protection, civil defense, information security, and crisis preparedness are more important than ever. Combitech is one of Sweden's largest consulting companies in these areas, and the demand for our services continues to grow. Your role as a junior security consultant with a focus on physical protection

As a junior security consultant with us, you will work broadly within security and operational protection with a particular focus on physical protection, while also being given the opportunity to gradually grow into more advanced tasks. You will contribute to our clients strengthening their ability to protect their assets, people, and information against various types of threats.

The work involves participating in analyses of security solutions related to, for example, perimeter protection, area protection, access control, alarms, and video surveillance. You will assist in the development of documentation, analyses, and action proposals that help clients develop and adapt their physical protection based on the needs of the operation and the threat landscape. The role involves close collaboration with more experienced colleagues where you participate in assignments and gradually take on greater responsibility.

The tasks may include site visits, status assessments, and inspections of physical security solutions as well as support in requirements specification in connection with procurement or during renovations, extensions, and new constructions. You may also contribute to the development of governing documents, protection concepts, and working methods related to physical security, as well as participate in training, workshops, and development work within the field. Together with your colleagues, you will also contribute to further developing methods and working practices within physical security. The role may also involve other tasks within the security protection area, such as working with personnel security, participating in security clearance interviews, contributing to security protection analyses, and supporting clients' overall security protection efforts.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career with a strong interest in working with operational protection, where security protection, physical security, and more are central elements. Your experience may come from studies or internships, from public service, the defense sector, or the private sector. What matters most to us is your commitment, curiosity, and willingness to contribute to a safer and more resilient society. An academic degree in areas such as security and protection of operations, civil protection and preparedness, risk management, security technology, construction or installation technology, or similar fields is an advantage.

You have a basic understanding of how security work is conducted in practice and are interested in how different parts of operational protection interact to protect operations, people, and assets. You have knowledge or experience from security-related work or education, for example, related to risk management, physical security, preparedness, or other areas of security. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

To thrive in the role, we are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and responsible, and who appreciates variety and the opportunity to learn new things. You have good collaboration skills, enjoy working together with more experienced colleagues, and find it easy to build and develop relationships.

We are primarily looking for employees in Stockholm, but we have offices in several locations around the country and are open to other placement locations in Mälardalen. Our clients are located throughout Sweden, which means that travel is part of the job.

As the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
