Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager at Hemköp Huddinge
We are now looking for a dynamic, ambitious, sales- and customer-focused individual who can take on the role of Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager at Hemköp Huddinge with great commitment and drive.
Main Responsibilities
If you want to have overall responsibility and lead employees, the role of Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager is perfect for you. Together with the Store Manager, you will be responsible for both purchasing and sales, as well as ensuring that we achieve our jointly set goals. The customer is at the core of our business. Therefore, daily customer contact is essential to create a positive shopping experience. Together with your team, you will ensure profitability and ensure that routines are followed, as well as monitoring gross profit and sales.
As a Deputy Store Manager/Operations Manager with us, you will have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring that employees receive the right information, develop, and enjoy their work, as well as ensuring that the store operates smoothly and effectively. You will also be part of the store's management team. A probationary period applies. Working hours are primarily scheduled during the day, but evenings and weekends may also occur. You will also be responsible for the store when the Store Manager is not present, and in addition, you will be a member of the management team.
Hemköp Huddinge is a retailer-owned store that is part of the Food Market chain. Food Market has undergone an exciting journey in recent years with its stores and has much fun ahead. The stores are run by ambitious owners who want to continue developing the store and its departments, so it is important that you find it challenging and exciting to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Food Market cares about the development of its staff, and there are good opportunities for internal growth.
What We Expect
Being interested in food, being good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people are prerequisites for the role. It is equally important that you have knowledge of the products within your area of responsibility. Additionally, you need to be familiar with basic economic key figures and have experience working in a store. We view it positively if you have completed industry-related training.
Since you will be leading and developing your employees, you need to be good at explaining routines, describing the goals the store should achieve, and identifying the challenges that exist. It is important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Equally important is your ability to delegate work, both giving and receiving feedback, and not shying away from driving through changes. We prefer that you have previous experience in similar roles.
To apply for the position, please visit Future Management's website www.futuremanagement.se (http://www.futuremanagement.se). We do not handle applications via post or email.
If you have any questions about the position, please feel free to contact Alexander Lindgren at Future Management, 0727-407 998.
