About the assignment

We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager in construction and civil engineering for one of Sweden's most extensive and technically advanced infrastructure projects.

You will work in an environment with high demands on structure, coordination, and progress, where you are responsible for leading the project through the contracting phase and up to final documentation and handover.

The assignment involves significant responsibility and many points of contact – both internally and externally – and suits you who thrive in complex projects with clear goals, high pace, and substantial values.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

• Direct, lead, and coordinate the project and its contracting
• Lead the project team and coordinate resources and support roles
• Follow up and report the project's status regarding time, budget, and risk
• Ensure operational coordination and manage interfaces to adjacent projects
• Drive the work towards set goals and ensure quality in deliveries
• Ensure that documentation is complete before handover
• Represent the project towards external stakeholders (e.g., municipalities and utility owners)
• Work with occupational safety responsibility according to applicable guidelines (BAS-P/BAS-U)

Requirements (must-have)

To be considered for the assignment, you must have:

• Higher education in construction and civil engineering or civil engineering degree
• At least 10 years of experience in project management/assignment management within construction and civil engineering in the public sector
• Experience from at least 2 multidisciplinary infrastructure projects valued over 500 MSEK
• Experience from at least 3 projects with coordination responsibility
• At least 5 years of experience with contract issues, change management, notifications, and verification of completed quality
• Documented occupational safety competence (BAS-P/BAS-U)

All requirements must be clearly supported by your CV.

Meritorious

• Experience in project coordination with external parties (e.g., municipalities, utility owners, nearby projects)
• Completed training/course in leadership
• Experience from at least two projects within installation and construction work
