We offer a residency position that begins with a nine-month fixed-term employment under supervision. After that, a permanent position.

Job Description

As a resident physician in anesthesiology and intensive care, you will participate in all aspects of the clinic's operations. You will also be part of our on-call services, as anesthesiology and intensive care is a heavily on-call specialty.

You will also undertake training at other hospitals to meet the requirements in the goal description.

You will supervise medical students and interns, as well as participate in the clinic's operational development.

Qualifications

Licensed physician with completed internship/residency at the start of the position. Previous experience in anesthesiology is an advantage.

Please note that the residency is not an integral part of this position.

About the Department

The area of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care is characterized by high quality and a stable staff group in all professions. In addition to anesthesiology, which consists of four operating departments within surgery/urology, orthopedics, gynecology/obstetrics, day surgery, as well as ENT and dental anesthesia and external operations, the department also has postoperative wards, an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pain Clinic, National Respiratory Center (NRC), and Sterile Technology. We are a large department with approximately 400 employees. Annually, about 24,000 anesthetics are performed in about 25 operating rooms. Our mission also includes education, clinical research, and development.
