We are now looking for an Operational Buyer for an international company in Huskvarna. The assignment is a temporary position during a parental leave and is part of a global Indirect Sourcing team that works in areas such as consulting services, travel, professional services, and sales & marketing.

You will be an important part of a team consisting of Category Managers and other purchasing specialists where you will jointly drive purchasing initiatives, digitalization, and cost savings. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers in an international environment.

• Ensure that purchasing activities are carried out according to the applicable sourcing strategy and policy

• Manage and develop the supplier base within relevant categories

• Conduct RFQs and negotiations, including in Coupa

• Identify and drive savings initiatives

• Ensure compliance with framework agreements and preferred supplier structure

• Collaborate with Category Managers and other buyers globally

• Support the business in requirement specification and purchasing processes

• Contribute to the development of working methods, digitalization, and improvement initiatives

• Create and maintain content in purchasing systems (e.g., forms and catalogs)

• University degree in Business, Economics, or a relevant field

• At least 2 years of experience in operational purchasing or a similar role

• Experience in purchasing indirect services

• Documented experience in negotiation

• Experience working in an international environment with multiple contact points

• Good system skills and experience with ERP systems

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience with Coupa

• Experience working in a matrix organization
