Personal Assistant with Opportunity for Leadership Role

About the Assignment

You will become a central and trusted person in the user’s life – an extension of her arms and legs. The assignment involves support in daily tasks, activities, and communication, both at home and in other contexts.

The user has speech difficulties, which makes good communication, patience, and attentiveness crucial. You need to feel comfortable with the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

There is also a dog in the home. If you are an animal lover and enjoy working closely with both humans and animals, you will thrive in this assignment.

We are looking for you who:

Have a driver’s license

Have very good Swedish in speech and writing

Are smoke-free and fragrance-free during working hours

Are flexible, calm, attentive, and have good patience

Have access to your own car (meritorious)

Have an interest in animals and nature (meritorious)

Leadership Role – for those who want to take the next step

For those with experience or interest in leadership, there is an opportunity to take on a leadership role. This role also includes extra compensation, and in addition, there is the opportunity to participate in training in leadership. In this role, you are an important link between the user and the assistant group. You contribute to:

Coordination and communication within the team

Scheduling

Introduction of new colleagues

A safe and well-functioning collaboration

The role entails greater responsibility, but also extra compensation, opportunities for training, and valuable experience in leadership.

About the Work:

Day shifts with sleeping on-call (about 4–6 days per 4-week period)

The work takes place where the user is – sometimes even on trips

A varied and changing work environment

Good parking opportunities and proximity to communication

Meritorious Experiences:

Previous work as a personal assistant

Experience in leadership or coordination (but not a must)

Experience working with animals, especially dogs (but not a must)
