Welcome to develop with us. We work on behalf of the commissioning unit, providing relief to parents and creating good social contexts and environmental changes for individuals.

The users come to us after school, leisure activities, or work. You will work in a team that focuses entirely on the users and their well-being. The job also includes everything that occurs in a home, such as cooking and cleaning. Haninge Short-Term Accommodation consists of three units.

Your mission. Your mission as a support assistant is based on LSS, where the fundamental principles for how services should be provided are self-determination, influence, accessibility, participation, continuity, and a holistic view. The goal is for the user to receive the support they need to live as independently as possible with a good quality of life. Within Short-Term Accommodation, you have an important task to support users in having a meaningful leisure time and to follow set goals and routines. As a substitute, you will work across all three units based on current needs, i.e., day/evening/night/weekend.

This is what we are looking for in you:

• Desired education from the Health and Care Program or the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on disabilities.
• You have the ability and knowledge to work with children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities.
• Knowledge in neuropsychiatry and intellectual disabilities is also desirable.
• You have the ability to create good relationships with children, adolescents, parents, and other relatives, are solution-oriented, and have an empathetic approach.
• You are positive, flexible, and can work in a structured manner, taking your own initiative and responsibility in the work situation.
