Personal Assistant – a meaningful and trustful assignment

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a meaningful and rewarding assignment, where your presence, engagement, and attentiveness make a real difference in another person's daily life.

If you have previous experience as a personal assistant, it is highly meritorious. You know what the profession entails – responsibility, close collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute to safety, independence, and quality of life.

About the assignment

You will work closely with a person with speech difficulties and mobility impairments. You play a central role in their daily life. Your task is to provide support in communication, daily chores, and activities – at home, in the community, and sometimes even while traveling.

The role requires that you are confident in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and that you possess a great deal of patience, flexibility, and the ability to read situations. You will, in practice, be an extension of the assistance user's arms and legs.

Being open to variation is important, as the work takes place where the assistance user is, and the days can look different.

There is a dog in the home. If you are interested in animals and enjoy working in an environment where animals are a natural part of everyday life, this is a big plus and a valued aspect of the job.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a driver's license

Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Is smoke-free and fragrance-free during working hours

Is flexible, confident, and has good patience

Has access to a personal car (meritorious)

Has an interest in animals and nature (meritorious)

About the work:

Day shifts with sleeping on-call, approximately 4–6 shifts per 4-week period (about 60–70%)

Workplace close to a train station with good parking opportunities

Varied work environment – at home, outdoors in nature, and during travels

A close and personal collaboration with an engaged and active assistance user

Meritorious experiences:

Previous work as a personal assistant

Experience with alternative or augmentative communication

Experience working with or caring for dogs

Knowledge of functional variations
