About the role

We are looking for a dedicated IT architect with a focus on solution architecture to join Unibase!

As an IT architect focusing on solution architecture, you will:

• Be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and sustainable IT solutions based on customer needs
• Work closely with development teams, project managers, and business representatives
• Evaluate and select technical platforms, tools, and integration solutions
• Ensure that solutions adhere to architectural principles, security requirements, and best practices
• Participate in projects across on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid environments

You will be a key person in our and the customer's team, contributing to delivering strategically valuable IT solutions.

Your tasks may include the following (depending on the assignment):

Solution design and architecture:

• Model and document solution architecture (e.g., using UML, ArchiMate)
• Design integration solutions (API, ESB, event-driven architecture)
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, reusable, and cost-effective
• Work with both traditional and modern architectural styles (monolith, microservices, serverless)

Technical consulting:

• Support development teams with technical guidelines and decisions
• Participate in requirements dialogues and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Conduct technical analyses and proof-of-concepts

Platforms and tools:

• Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Ensure security, performance, and availability in solutions

Documentation and communication:

• Document architectural principles, solution proposals, and technical decisions
• Present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable experiences

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• Enterprise architecture and frameworks such as TOGAF or SAFe
• DevOps and automation (Terraform, Ansible, GitOps)
• Container solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Certifications in cloud, security, or architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Architect, CISSP)
• ITIL v4 or similar frameworks for IT governance

Your background

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in IT
• Experience designing solutions in complex IT environments
• Post-secondary education in IT, computer science, or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of both technology and business needs
• Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
