Job Responsibilities

The IT and Digitalization unit is part of one of our management and support departments, namely development and governance.

We want to be at the forefront, and together with each other and our colleagues, we work to ensure that the property management department is a leading manager and construction actor with proud employees and satisfied tenants. With us, you will be part of developing the city, and together in the unit, we work to make a difference every day.

Your Responsibilities:

As a development leader, you coordinate the digitalization efforts within the department and lead the development projects related to IT and digitalization. You work to ensure that digitalization meets the needs of the department's customers by contributing to the analysis and development of the various needs that exist and the benefits/values that should be realized. Your points of contact are broad, and you collaborate with business developers in different departments and with other urban development departments.

Qualifications

We believe that you have:

  • Relevant higher education or other equivalent education/courses in the field of IT and digitalization.
  • Experience in both operational and strategic work within IT and digitalization.
  • Worked with project management/assignment management within IT.
  • Developed and conducted training and/or seminars/workshops.
  • Experience leading strategic change and development work.
  • Good understanding and experience of AI as an important part of future digitalization.

Desirable for the position:

  • Knowledge of system support for construction and management of properties such as property systems, project management systems.
  • Knowledge of property automation.
  • Knowledge of system management models, e.g., PM3.

About Us

The Property Management Department creates environments where life can take place by planning, building, renting, managing, and developing premises and outdoor environments for the City of Gothenburg's operations. Every day, hundreds of thousands of Gothenburg residents are active in preschools, schools, care homes, and other premises that we manage.

Together with the city environment management, the exploitation management, and the city planning management, we have a coordinated responsibility for urban development in the City of Gothenburg. This means a shared distribution of responsibilities and roles based on phases: planning; implementation; and management with the goal of contributing to a cohesive, efficient, and transparent urban development for residents, visitors, and businesses in the city.
