You will lead the educational work together with colleagues in an engaged team. Together, you will plan, implement, document, and follow up on the education based on the preschool curriculum. Our preschool is located in Biskopsgården, close to beautiful natural areas and with good public transport connections. We operate from a perspective where we see all children as competent and we believe that children learn through exploration and collaboration. We have a strong focus on a language development approach that permeates the entire day. As educators, we are present and co-researching in our interactions with the children, grounded in the curriculum.

We work to ensure that the children in preschool are involved in an activity that is exciting, creative, inviting, fun, and challenging. The educators are good role models who listen and challenge the children further. Our educational environment is well thought out, inspiring, and adaptable based on the children's interests.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher with the ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are a secure leader and a good role model for both children and adults, with the ability to create a positive and developing environment where children can grow at their own pace.

You can plan, implement, document, and analyze the activities according to the preschool curriculum and other governing documents. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and you are comfortable using digital tools in your work.

Meritorious:

• Experience with language development approaches and evidence-based methods in preschool.
• Experience with clear pedagogical methods and knowledge to adapt the learning environment, materials, and working methods based on children's needs.

We are responsible for education and care for about 25,000 children in nearly 350 municipal preschools. The administration has around 7,000 employees distributed across approximately 75 professions. Together, we work towards the same goal - to develop a fun, safe, and educational preschool for all children in Gothenburg.
