About the job

Part-time employment as a mother tongue teacher and study guide for students in grades F-9.

The languages requested are Bari, Syriac, and Romani (dialects arli and/or gurbeti) as well as Meänkieli.

Who are you

You have a Swedish teaching degree or a teaching degree from abroad that can be verified and has been validated by the University and college entrance exam, or you have started a Swedish teacher training program. Other educational qualifications are also considered an asset. Experience working in preschool and/or teaching in elementary school, high school, and adult education is seen as meritorious. We view it positively if you master multiple languages as our children and students come from all over the world.

Your Swedish and mother tongue must be good enough for you to express yourself in speech and writing at an academic level.

You who are applying should have good computer skills. The job requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as you will be working in all of the municipality's preschools, elementary schools, and also high school (applies to study guidance).

Consideration is given to personal suitability.

Remote teaching is only relevant for the minority language Meänkieli.
