Description

We are now looking for you at Påvelundsskolan, a qualified teacher for grades 4-6 with as broad subject competence as possible, as one of our fantastic class teachers is retiring.

This opens up an opportunity for you who want to be a class teacher.

Påvelundsskolan F-9 is a school with approximately 1100 students. At Påvelundsskolan F-6, we currently have about 485 students and around 60 staff. The school consists of four school buildings with facilities adapted to meet the needs of the students and provide conditions for safety and study focus. Our work is based on a common view that all students are our students. We must ensure that we provide them with the best conditions we can during their time with us.

Our goal is for Påvelundsskolan F-6 to be an equitable school where students and staff thrive and develop. Our work is characterized by dedicated staff who provide students with opportunities and conditions to develop and be challenged in their learning. We work for an open, developing, and pleasant work community with a focus on the students' learning environment. We value relationship and communication skills.

The systematic quality work is ongoing, and our teaching leaders within the subject didactic college develop, together with all teaching staff, the teaching in relation to students' learning. Our school always focuses on the importance of pedagogical leadership. Through collaboration with guardians, we share a common responsibility to create good conditions for learning.

Responsibilities

You will be one of the school's 8 class teachers in grades 4-6. You will be part of a work team with the grade you will be responsible for, as well as in the larger work team with teachers in grades 4-6. You will work with students in need of extra adjustments, special support, and of course, the students who are part of our special needs group if any belong to your grade. Based on your qualifications, competence, and profile, in combination with the staff we have, service planning will be done.

You evaluate your teaching, follow current research, have good knowledge of teaching materials and differentiated instruction. You collaborate with other colleagues and professionals within the Student Health Team.

You work preventively to eliminate barriers in various learning environments. You are inspired and like to exchange new thoughts and ideas, have experience in improvement work where you take an active role, and have close collaboration with colleagues and principals.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with the qualification to teach grades 4-6. We would like you to have broad qualifications in core subjects, Swedish, mathematics, English, as well as SO and NO subjects.

You find it easy to collaborate and have an inclusive approach, with concrete examples and references that can tell how you create and take responsibility for good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You can plan and prioritize your work independently and base your development work on an analysis of previous results. You are familiar with the governing documents and have the ability to apply them. You follow current research in the field and have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

You are a stable and secure person who understands that all students have different conditions and learn in different ways. You have a strong interest in your work and show commitment, perseverance, and willingness.

We are looking for employees who are engaged, who focus on students, and who collaborate in work teams.
