Job Description

As an Electrical Designer, you will be part of our team in Trollhättan. You will work on technically advanced projects that involve both new development and further development of existing products. The role involves collaboration with multiple disciplines and regular travel to our customers, mostly within Sweden.

You will have the opportunity to both support and lead technical development, depending on the project's phase and complexity.

Your Responsibilities

• Design of electrical systems and wiring networks for new and existing products
• Support the development of technical solutions based on given requirements, frameworks, and regulations
• Support and in some cases lead the installation of components and the laying of cables and media in vehicles
• Work closely with projects, systems development, and other technical functions
• Contribute to technical decisions, improvements, and adjustments throughout the project's various phases

We develop solutions in close collaboration with projects and other departments, giving you great insight and the opportunity to influence the whole.

Qualifications

Who are you?

• You are an engaged engineer with strong technical curiosity and a good sense of detail. You are analytical, structured, and confident in taking responsibility within given frameworks – even when circumstances change.
• Requirements:
• MSc or BSc in Mechatronics or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an electrical designer in the automotive or other industries
• Able to work both independently and in a team
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Preferred:
• Experience from the defense industry
• Knowledge of Saber (2D wiring design)
• Knowledge of E3

Security

• Security clearance is required for the position
