We are looking for engaged and responsible summer temporary staff for elderly care in Haninge municipality. To work with us this summer, you should be able to work on a schedule during weeks 26-29 or 30-33. We would prefer if you can work both periods. The schedule includes day/evening shifts and every other weekend. There is an opportunity for extra work before the summer. Previous experience or studying care and nursing is an advantage.

We are looking for summer temporary staff for our operations in:

  • Home care (driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement)
  • Care and nursing homes (day/evening and night staff)
  • Day activities/Meeting point
  • Alarm and Night group

As a temporary staff member this summer, you will work alongside experienced colleagues dedicated to providing the best possible care and support. To ensure that our employees have the language skills required for the role, we apply language tests in the recruitment process. This is part of our work to maintain good communication and service at all levels.

Responsibilities

In the role of summer temporary staff in elderly care in Haninge municipality, you will play an important and responsible role in ensuring safe and quality care for the service user. Your main responsibility includes supporting and caring for the elderly in their daily lives and activities. It is crucial that you are independent and can take your own initiatives while being flexible and adapting to the needs of the service user.

Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and care to elderly individuals in their daily activities.
  • Creating and maintaining trusting relationships with the service user to promote their well-being.
  • Personal care such as bathroom visits and showers, transfers, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
  • Working closely with colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Having an empathetic and holistic view for each individual.
  • Planning and conducting activities that stimulate both physically and mentally, tailored to the individual’s needs and wishes.

Through your work, you will have the opportunity to influence and improve the quality of life for many elderly individuals, which is a meaningful and rewarding task.

Qualifications

To work in elderly care in Haninge, you need to be at least 18 years old and present a criminal record extract before employment.
