PÄRLANS CONFECTIONERY

Packaging Team Leader 2026

About the Job

Are you an engaged person with a lot of energy who enjoys working practically, but also planning, leading, and creating structure? Do you like to think creatively, solve problems, and build smart workflows together with a team?

Then you might be the one we are looking for as a Packaging Team Leader at Pärlans Confectionery.

We moved to larger premises in the Slakthus area in August 2024 and are facing some exciting years of growth. Now we are looking for someone who wants to help develop both work methods and people in a company with beloved products and an established brand with a strong market presence.

About Us

At Pärlans Confectionery, we cook caramel and caramel sauce in the traditional way with butter, cream, and sugar. The first caramel was sold in December 2010, and near Nytorget in Södermalm is our store and original small kitchen, which is now a popular soft ice cream bar. Today, our factory with production and offices is located in the Slakthus area south of Stockholm. In addition to our store in Söder, sales also take place through our own webshop and a large network of retailers, primarily in Sweden, but we also have a growing international market.

We are a company where quality, precision, and pride in execution permeate the entire operation – from production to finished product. We have a very exciting journey ahead of us and hope you want to be a part of it.

Job Responsibilities

In a caramel factory, no day is the same. You work closely with a knowledgeable, creative, and engaged team. Your main responsibilities are:

Team Leadership in Packaging - Plan, organize, and lead the daily packaging work.

Training and Coaching - Lead and support a team that normally consists of 3–4 people, but grows significantly during peak season (e.g., before Christmas).

Inventory and Purchasing - Ensure that packaging materials are always available.

Operational Work - Be part of the packaging team and work practically with packaging while being responsible for pace, quality, and structure.

Packaging is largely a craft – our caramels are packed by hand in boxes with great precision. At the same time, we use machines for tasks such as sealing bags and labeling jars and bottles.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

· independent, responsible, and structured

· detail-oriented, flexible, and a quick learner

· communicative and confident in a leadership role

· unpretentious and enjoys working in a smaller organization where everyone helps each other

You are a positive person with great energy, who can maintain focus and a good mood even during busy periods. You enjoy working practically, see the value of structure to create good workflows, and have the ability to build well-functioning teams.

You preferably have a few years of experience in production or service roles. Previous experience in packaging is not a requirement – we will teach you – but you need to enjoy working with your hands and taking responsibility.

Employment Type

· Full-time, permanent

· Fixed monthly salary

· Collective agreement

· Start: immediately

The work is usually scheduled during daytime on weekdays, but evening and weekend work may occur during busy periods, especially before Christmas.

Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

The role will be available as the current team leader moves on to new challenges.
