Sagolekhuset Junibacken AB is a well-known cultural house for children and their adults, located on Djurgården in Stockholm. Junibacken combines play, literature, and culture with inspiration from Astrid Lindgren's stories and many other Nordic and international children's book authors.

Who we are looking for:
Restaurant Assistant (Seasonal work - summer)

Start date:
By June 10, 2026

Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for cash handling and receiving payments in a correct and service-oriented manner
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages in the role of barista
- Ensure that the dining area is clean and pleasant by wiping tables and keeping guest areas tidy
- Clean and disinfect work surfaces to maintain a good hygiene standard
- Handle dishes and ensure that kitchen equipment and serving materials are clean and organized

Requirements:
– You speak and understand Swedish at a good professional level (intermediate level).
– Service-oriented and comfortable in customer contact, even during busy periods
– Ability to work carefully and responsibly with cash and payments

Meritorious:
– Experience with cash handling and knowledge of retail systems
– Previous experience in restaurant or service jobs

Your profile:
– Enjoys a lively environment with many children and visitors
– Likes to work practically and keep order in the restaurant
– Cooperative and flexible in a small team
– Takes initiative in cleaning, structuring, and assisting customers
– Open, social, meticulous, and stress-resistant
