Your Mission

As a restaurant assistant, you belong to the operational support department. This department is tasked with supporting the organization both strategically and administratively. To make all parts of our operations work optimally, we need you who enjoy service, people, and quality.

In this role, you will help create a pleasant dining environment that many look forward to every day. You will work with common kitchen tasks, such as working in the cold kitchen, dishwashing, and serving our guests in the dining room. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring that the presentation of staff meals and the accompanying salad buffet is inviting, that the dining room and serving areas are clean and tidy, and you will also perform simpler administrative tasks as needed.

Our staff cafeteria is highly appreciated and has a significant delivery responsibility. Therefore, the work can sometimes be intense, but it is also varied and engaging. You will support the hot kitchen as needed, do simpler baking for the ordering service, and be responsible for kiosk sales on a rotating schedule. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas for the assortment and offerings, where your sense of service is valuable.

Unpacking goods is a natural part of the workday and may involve heavy lifting. You will handle the cash register and collaborate closely with FRA's internal ordering organization for food. Through cooperation, flexibility, and a good service mindset, you contribute to a smooth operation of high quality.

Shift schedules may occur as needed.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed high school education in cold kitchen, large kitchen, or restaurant
• 3 years of work experience in cold kitchen, kitchen, and preparation of salads and cold dishes for catering
• Valid food safety training
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Competence in allergens, vegan/vegetarian food, and HACCP
• Experience in cash handling, catering, in-house meal boxes, buffets, and finger foods
• MS Office suite (Word)
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will be security vetted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. With employment comes an obligation to be placed in wartime.
