JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you an engaged physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people regain their mobility and quality of life? Gävle municipality has gathered all licensed personnel within one office, the Health and Medical Care office. We are now looking for a temporary physiotherapist while our regular colleague is on parental leave.

Your job responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients' functional abilities and needs for physiotherapeutic interventions
• Planning, implementing, and following up individually tailored physiotherapeutic treatments
• Working with preventive, rehabilitative, habilitative, and compensatory measures
• Performing physiotherapeutic interventions within home healthcare as well as in care and nursing homes
• Guiding, instructing, and educating care and nursing staff in transfers, training, and working methods
• Contributing physiotherapeutic expertise in care planning and team meetings
• Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams around the care recipient, together with, for example, occupational therapists, nurses, and other care staff

• Licensed physiotherapist
• Driver's license and experience driving a car

• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to translate guidelines and decisions into action
• Working from a holistic view of the patient with genuine empathy and respect
