Welcome to the psychiatric, rehabilitation, and habilitation area! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors both within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

Ekeliden belongs to specialist psychiatry and is a care and treatment home for adult women and men who have harmful use or dependence on alcohol, drugs, and/or medications. We have therapists, CBT therapists, doctors, nurses, chefs, and a unit manager working with us. Ekeliden is located in Tingsryd, 45 km south of Växjö.

We have our own kitchen and are now looking for a chef. We look forward to your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ekeliden has its own family kitchen where we prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients and employees. We cook traditional Swedish food with creativity and care for both clients and the environment. Our kitchen has a good reputation, and we place great value on the meals served.

The kitchen at Ekeliden has two chefs responsible for the kitchen. Together, you will be involved in ensuring that clients receive good food and good service. You will be involved in meal planning, kitchen operations, and ordering supplies.

Together with other employees at Ekeliden, we care about quality in the operation, a good working environment, and well-being for our clients, where food and nutrition play a significant role in recovery.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained chef. You have the ability to work independently as the job also involves working alone in the kitchen. Your values align well with the equal rights of all individuals.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Experience is an advantage. Before employment, the employer will request a background check from the police, which must be approved.
