The Care Administration is looking for summer substitutes for our kitchens

In the food unit, we have 5 kitchens, one of which is a serving kitchen. Food issues are a focus area in Alvesta Municipality where we see that good, well-prepared meals lead to satisfied diners, proud staff, and can help improve results across the entire operation. We have been successful and won several awards in Sweden's public meals 2022-2025.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute in our kitchens, you will have varying working hours distributed over all days of the week as we deliver food Monday-Sunday.

Your tasks will include assisting in cooking, packing food distribution, preparing salads and desserts, and handling dishwashing and cleaning of kitchens and dining rooms. Our common goal is to give our care recipients a golden touch in their everyday lives through good, well-prepared, and nutritious food.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of how we work with nutritious and adapted food within elderly care. You will work alongside experienced and competent staff in the food unit in Alvesta municipality, and we offer a safe introduction with support from our supervisors so that you quickly feel at home in your role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is responsible, meticulous, and has an easy time planning and structuring their work. You have a very good attitude, are solution-oriented, and collaborate well with others, even in high-tempo situations.

You have a genuine interest in food and cooking and are passionate about creating good, nutritious, and well-balanced food of high quality. You also appreciate the small details that enhance the dining experience and contribute to each guest feeling well taken care of.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Previously worked in kitchens within elderly care
• B driver's license
