Instructor in CAD Design / Mechanical Design

📍 Gothenburg (possibility for partial remote work) 📅 Start: Autumn semester 2026

Teknikakademin is looking for an engaged instructor in CAD design and mechanical design. This role is suitable for you who have strong technical expertise in design and want to share your knowledge with the engineers of the future.

You will plan, implement, and develop teaching in CAD modeling, machine design, and product development. The teaching takes place on-site in Gothenburg with the possibility of some remote arrangements.

• Teach CAD modeling, construction technology, and mechanical design

• Convey knowledge in solid and surface modeling in advanced CAD systems

• Introduce mechanics, strength, material selection, and production methods

• Teach PDM systems and documentation procedures

• Guide students in design projects and technical reports

• Quality assure and develop course materials

• Very good knowledge in CAD design and machine construction

• Experience with modern CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor)

• Understanding of mechanics, strength, and design methodology

• Relevant technical education and/or equivalent professional experience

• Good pedagogical skills

• Experience from industrial design or product development

• Experience with PDM systems

• Previous experience as an instructor/mentor

• Experience in project work or managing smaller projects
