About our open position

The goal of the healthcare social worker's work is to support patients' ability and opportunity to manage the life situation that illness can bring.

Common tasks include psychosocial treatment, which involves conversation support and processing. The role also includes social interventions that provide informative and some practical support. With these efforts, we aim to create the best possible conditions for patients to manage their life situation. As a healthcare social worker, you contribute to developing and maintaining the social, psychosocial, and social-legal perspective within healthcare, thereby adding a qualified psychosocial perspective to medical care. The support provided by the healthcare social worker primarily occurs during ongoing medical treatment or rehabilitation within specialized healthcare.

The work also includes continuous development work and method development.

About us

We who work at the social worker reception are healthcare social workers and rehabilitation coordinators. There is close collaboration among us, where joint referral reviews are used for case distribution and collective reflection on complex cases.

With us, you will enjoy a pleasant work environment with your own office, close collaboration with colleagues who mostly sit together in the same location, and flexible working arrangements with the possibility of remote work based on the needs of the organization. As a new employee, you will receive a planned introduction, mentorship that guides you in your daily work, and the opportunity to participate in profession-specific meetings based on your primary profession. In the long run, there will also be opportunities for external supervision together with colleagues.

Your profile

You who are applying have a degree in social work with several years of experience in the profession. It is an advantage if you are a licensed healthcare social worker. You have experience with documentation and have participated in development work. Furthermore, you have experience with digital working methods and feel comfortable with them, both in patient work and in the organization's routines and improvement efforts. We would like you to have good knowledge of other community interventions and experience working with a focus on the child perspective. You who are applying are confident and experienced in working in interdisciplinary teams, preferably from a bio-psycho-social perspective.

As a person, you have the ability to see the whole picture but also to work independently with clear structure and focus. You can prioritize, delineate, and make professional assessments based on the patient's needs. You are a confident person, easily set boundaries, and maintain focus within the framework of the assignment. The work is varied and also requires collaboration skills and flexibility. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
