You will have the opportunity to work as a personal assistant to me, a woman just over 35 years old living in my own home. I am blind, have a mild hearing impairment, and have an intellectual disability.

It is an advantage if you have previously met people with communication difficulties, but it is not a requirement. The most important thing is your commitment and that you have a genuine interest in contributing to an increased quality of life for me.

We will get along well if you also have a sense of humor and enjoy doing fun activities as I like to be active. You will accompany me in daily activities as well as all my leisure activities and help me manage my home and personal hygiene.

As a person, I see that you are cheerful and positive, calm, attentive, and responsible. You should be smoke-free and have a driver's license.

There is some flexibility in terms of desired working hours.

1 position (with the option to choose 70–95%) with working hours scheduled for longer shifts during the day/evening and overnight shifts with sleeping duty on both weekdays and weekends.

A large part of the work is done together with my other assistants (both guys and girls) since there is double assistance during the day and evening.

We currently have 45 members with about 300 personal assistants, and we are our own managers for our assistants while SkaraborgsAssistans has the employer and work environment responsibility. As an employed personal assistant with us, you are covered by a collective agreement and pension agreement. You are insured on and to/from work in case something unforeseen happens. We offer wellness grants to all our employees.
