As a service employee in the area of Local Services, Regional Services, you will have the opportunity to work with various tasks. Our area is responsible for service functions within cleaning, meals, and logistics.

We primarily provide service at the region's three hospitals in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg, as well as health centers, Public Dental Service, and Regional Development.

As the units Logistics and Cleaning are part of a new organization, you will become an important part of the development work. We are looking for someone who wants to grow, develop, and try different tasks.

As a service employee in Logistics , you will work with everything from internal transport such as waste management, mail handling, goods handling to patient transport, e-service cards, car pool, material and textile management, meal hosts, and other service assignments.

We are responsible for transport within the region's hospitals, to and from health centers, dental care units, and other healthcare activities.

As a service employee in Cleaning , you will work with daily cleaning both independently and in a team. There are also service assignments such as final cleaning, intermediate cleaning, and deep cleaning.

We also provide cleaning services at health centers and dental care units and other healthcare activities.

The broad operations of Regional Services contribute to facilitating the work for everyone within Region Örebro County. Our approximately 1000 employees work with IT support and development, real estate, meals, logistics and cleaning services, medical technology, procurement, and administration. Summer substitutes for Local Services, Lindesberg

We are currently looking for someone who wants to work as a service employee at Lindesberg Hospital.

The position allows you to work in the respective unit or in a combination.

As a service employee, the tasks within the meal host process will involve handling and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the care departments. Handling materials and textiles, unpacking and restocking in the various storages.

Within the cleaning process, the tasks will include daily cleaning, final cleaning, and deep cleaning. You will work in teams and independently.

Within the goods & waste and transport processes, tasks may involve transporting patients, goods, laundry, waste, etc.

The work is physical and requires you to follow routines and precision from a health perspective.

The work takes place in a hospital environment, and in your daily work, you will also come into contact with the patients present in the premises.

As we operate Monday to Sunday, both day and evening shifts, the position includes weekend work and shifts during the evening.

• At least 18 years old.
• Proficient in Swedish in speaking, reading comprehension, and writing.

Please note! It is a requirement that you can start working at 06:00 in the morning and be able to work weekends.

Even evening work may occur on certain shifts.
