As a service employee in the area of Local Service, Regional Service, you will have the opportunity to work with various tasks. Our area is responsible for service functions within cleaning, meals, and logistics.

We primarily provide service at the region's three hospitals in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg, as well as health centers, Public Dental Service, and Regional Development.

As the units Logistics and Cleaning are part of a new organization, you will be an important part of the development work. We are looking for someone who wants to develop, grow, and try different tasks.

• As a service employee in Logistics, you will work with everything from internal transports such as waste management, mail handling, goods handling to patient transports, e-service cards, car pools, material and textile handling, meal hosts, and other service assignments. We are responsible for transports within the county's hospitals, as well as transports to and from certain health centers and public dental service units and other healthcare activities in the county.
• As a service employee in Cleaning, you will work with daily cleaning both independently and in a team. There are also service assignments such as final cleaning, intermediate cleaning, and deep cleaning. We also perform cleaning at health centers and public dental service units and other healthcare activities in the county.

The broad operations of Regional Service contribute to facilitating the work for everyone within Region Örebro County. Our approximately 1000 employees work with IT support and development, properties, meals, logistics and cleaning services, medical technology, procurement, and administration. The position offers the opportunity to work at respective units or in a combination.

As a service employee, the tasks within the process of meal host will involve handling and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the care departments. Handling materials and textiles, unpacking, and restocking in the various storerooms.

Within the process of cleaning, the tasks will involve daily cleaning. You will work in teams and independently. There are also service assignments such as final cleaning and deep cleaning.

Within the process of goods & waste and transport, tasks may involve transporting patients, goods, laundry, waste, etc.

The work is physical and requires you to follow routines and precision from a health perspective.

The work takes place in a hospital environment, and in your daily work, you will also come into contact with the patients present in the premises.

As we operate Monday to Sunday, both day and evening shifts, the position includes weekend work and evening shifts.

We are looking for you who:

• Are at least 18 years old and master Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension.
• Have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, intranet).

Meritorious:

• Forklift license A, B, and D1
• Driving license B
• SRY training

• Flexible: Can handle changes and unforeseen situations.

Experience in cleaning, restaurant, logistics, or service is meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. Language tests may occur during the interview. Some positions require a criminal record extract.

You should be able to start at 06:00 and work weekends; evening shifts may occur.
