As a service employee within the area of Local Service, Regional Service, you will have the opportunity to work with various tasks. Our area is responsible for service functions within cleaning, meals, and logistics.

We primarily provide service at the region's three hospitals in Örebro, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg, but also at health centers, Public Dental Service, and Regional Development.

Since the units Logistics and Cleaning are part of a new organization, you will become an important part of the development work. We are looking for someone who wants to develop, grow, and try different tasks.

As a service employee within Logistics , you will work with everything from internal transports such as waste management, mail handling, goods handling to patient transports, e-service cards, car pool, material and textile handling, meal hosts, and other service assignments.

We are responsible for transports within the county's hospitals, to and from health centers, dental units, and other healthcare activities.

As a service employee within Cleaning , you will work with daily cleaning both independently and in teams. There are also service assignments such as final cleaning, interim cleaning, and deep cleaning.

We also perform cleaning at health centers and dental units and other healthcare activities.

The broad activities of Regional Service contribute to facilitating the work for everyone within Region Örebro County. Our approximately 1000 employees work with IT support and development, properties, meals, logistics and cleaning services, medical technology, procurement, and administration. We are currently looking for someone who wants to work as a service employee at Lindesberg Hospital.

The position allows you to work in respective units or in a combination.

As a service employee, the tasks within the process of meal host will involve managing and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the care departments. Handling materials and textiles, unpacking and restocking in the various storages.

Within the process of cleaning , the tasks will include daily cleaning, final cleaning, and deep cleaning. You will work in teams and independently.

Within the process of goods & waste and transport , tasks may involve transporting patients, goods, laundry, waste, and more.

The work is physical and requires you to follow routines and precision from a health perspective.

The work takes place in a hospital environment, and in your daily work, you will also come into contact with the patients who are in the premises.

Since we operate Monday to Sunday, both day and evening shifts, the position includes weekend work and evening shifts.

• At least 18 years old.
• Proficient in the Swedish language in speech, reading comprehension, and writing.
• You have basic computer skills, i.e., you can: use the main functions in word processing programs like Microsoft Word and in spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel, send, read, and reply to emails in Outlook, search and manage information on the intranet.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Forklift license A, B, and D1.
• Driver's license B.
• SRY training.

Note! It is a requirement that you can start working at 06:00 in the morning and be able to work weekends.

Even evening work may occur on certain shifts.
