At the Health and Medical Care Unit, we have gathered all licensed personnel working in care and support in Järfälla municipality. At the Health and Medical Care Unit, we are a wonderful team of nurses, rehabilitation staff, administrators, and managers. We have close collaboration to ensure professional and person-centered care of the highest level. As a nurse, you are employed by the health and medical care unit but placed out in our operations. In the municipality, we have eight care and support homes spread across Barkarbystaden, Viksjö, Jakobsberg, and Kallhäll where we work together for today’s and future challenges in healthcare! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you perform regular tasks such as medication management, advising care staff, etc. You have contact with doctors and other healthcare providers. You document in the municipality's data journal system Lifecare HSL and follow the laws and governing documents that exist in the operation. You should be able to organize and prioritize work independently and efficiently. You create good relationships and have a professional approach as the work involves many contacts. You have a drive and ability to make decisions while being unpretentious and collaborating with enthusiasm and participation. The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.

You enter the operation with a calm and professional demeanor and support your care colleagues to reach the safest assessment for the patient. You take action, inform, and document. You are engaged in creating a good working environment and come up with suggestions on how the operation can develop. Above all, you should enjoy being part of a team; in Järfälla municipality, we work together.

The summer schedule is set between June and August, and you need to be able to work at least 6 weeks during this period. Introduction takes place continuously before summer, and we would like you to start working as a substitute before summer begins to get into the operation, if possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a licensed nurse with at least 18 months of professional experience.

Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

Good computer skills

It is an advantage if you have further education and/or work experience in emergency work, geriatrics, psychiatry, ASIH, home healthcare, or similar. We see it as a plus if you have experience with Procapita or LifeCare HSL.

We place great emphasis on the right personality. You need to have a world-class approach, with a pleasant tone and a professional manner towards patients, colleagues, and relatives. Being flexible, able to work independently, and feeling confident in prioritizing are important qualities.
