The Family Center is part of IFO Open Care in Hallstahammar, which constitutes the combined open care for the municipality's residents; children, youth, families, and adults. Here, family therapists, counselors, and housing supporters work together to provide the best possible support. Our entire open care is closely linked to the authority's operations, which gives us the opportunity for simple and close collaboration in joint matters.

Now, two of our family therapists will be on parental leave, and we are looking for experienced and committed social workers who want to come and work with us during their absence.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for substitutes for two parental leave positions, one as a family therapist and one as a school social worker.

As a family therapist, you will be part of a team of family therapists and housing supporters at the Family Center, which is part of the Individual and Family Care in Hallstahammar. Family therapists work with psychosocial change work in families and also have group activities and preventive measures in various forms. The assignments that come to family therapists are primarily assessed assistance assignments, but we also work with interventions without needs assessment, visitation support, crisis support, and parent education. The work is carried out both in the open care facilities and in families' homes. We have continuous and close collaboration with preschools, schools, health care, and other actors in the area.

As a school social worker, you will work in a team together with a colleague from the school. You will work closely with individual students, parents, teachers, and the student health team to strengthen the conditions for students to achieve their educational goals, increase student attendance in school, and provide support to break an unfavorable development. The team has a cross-professional approach and can, for example, offer support measures to guardians and students and collaborate with schools and social services regarding the young person. This can involve motivational conversations, support in creating structure and strategies to manage the school day, and social change work in the home. The work is performed both in the school and at home.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• a degree in social work or another academic education that the employer assesses as equivalent
• previous experience working with change work within social services
• experience collaborating and cooperating with other actors, both internal and external
• a driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle

At the same time, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances and quickly shift focus when the situation requires it. You enjoy collaborating, both within the team and with other actors, and see the strength in working together to achieve common goals. You also have the ability to communicate clearly, see the whole picture, and consider the larger perspective. You have pedagogical and psychological tools that enable you to meet children, youth, guardians, and colleagues in various situations and needs, and you are solution-focused with the ability to think creatively and find individual solutions.

Some evening and weekend work may occur.
