Our client is part of a global industrial group and develops, markets, and delivers advanced environmental technology systems for the purification of industrial gases and emissions. The solutions are used worldwide to reduce volatile organic compounds, odors, and methane from industrial processes, contributing to more sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. The projects are primarily located in Europe but also occur in Sweden and the USA. The organization is in a strong growth phase and is now seeking reinforcement.

As a Sub-Project Manager, you will play a central role in project deliveries. You will be responsible for the automation part of the projects and act as a technical expert in PLC and control systems. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, designers, suppliers, and customers, where you will be involved from project planning to commissioning.

• Be responsible for automation in project deliveries.
• Participate in project planning and development of technical solutions.
• Provide technical support and answer automation-related questions.
• Participate in PLC programming and commissioning.
• In the long term, contribute more within electrical schematics, for example in Elprocad.

• Has a YH or bachelor's degree in automation or a related field.
• Has 2+ years of experience previously working as an automation engineer or similar.
• As the role is a combination of sub-project management and automation efforts, we would like you to have experience in PLC programming and electrical design.
• Is fluent in both Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as the languages are communicated internally and externally.

Desirable experiences:

• Siemens TIA Portal.
• Automation or installation within ventilation or process industry.
• Work in project form or as a technical responsible.

We are looking for someone with experience in automation who enjoys a role with both technical responsibility and project focus. You have practical experience in PLC programming, the more years the better. This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that you will then become permanently employed by the client company.
